Adrianna here. Just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself as the chef behind Upper Left Supper Club.
Growing up, I split my time between California and Nevada before moving to Seattle in 2009. I lived there for over 11 years until recently relocating to the Bellingham area. I now split my time between Seattle and Bellingham and service both regions. I started my business in 2016 and have never looked back! I absolutely love what I do and am excited to start serving this area and greater Whatcom County.
I am a self-taught personal chef, specializing in a variety of cuisines including: Mexican, Mediterranean, Northern Indian, Homestyle, and Pacific Northwest blends. Recently, I have expanded my repertoire to include a significant number of traditional Chinese/Sichuan and Korean recipes and am digging deep into Thai and Japanese flavors.
Along with all of these flavor profiles, my real specialty is in finding ways to modify recipes to accommodate a wide range of dietary restrictions, taste preferences, and allergies…even within the same household. I have extensive experience with nut milks/cheeses, alternative flours and sweeteners, and a ton of different protein options. Whether you’re trying a new diet for fun, or working through an elimination program, I can craft meals that will make the entire family happy.
I received a bachelor's degree in apparel design, (emphasis on accessories) which I feel has left me with a well rounded knowledge of materials and construction techniques. I have taken the creativity, beauty, and intricacy of designing and constructing with fabrics and other raw materials, into my cooking and especially into my event presentations. I love to make even the simplest food look beautiful and enhance the overall experience for my clients.
While cooking in your home, I’m usually in the zone with a podcast, but I love chatting with my clients and building a solid relationship. I am personable, easy going, and professional, and I will love your pet(s). I also love working with children and I am an expert at hiding additional vegetables in any meal to make sure that both you and they are getting the most out of your food.
