Traditional Basil Pesto

Ingredients: 

  • 1-2 handfuls of Basil

  • 2-5 tablespoons of Olive oil

  • 3-4 Garlic cloves

  • Pinch of Salt 

  • ¼ cup Pine nuts

  • 2 tablespoons of Parmesan (optional) or 1 tablespoon hemp seeds mixed with nutritional yeast

Instructions: 

  1. Toast pine nuts until just browned. 

  2. Blend everything together in a food processor

  3. Add olive oil as needed

  4. Taste and adjust salt level as needed.
